About me

I am a Post doctoral fellow at the Paul Scherrer institute, Switzerland. I recently graduated with a PhD from the National Univeristy of Singapore(NUS) where I worked at the Mechanobiology Institute. I specialize in microscopy, computer vision, statistics and genomics.

Broadly speaking I am interested in quantitative cell biology, but I am particularly fascinated by studies that integrate single cell data from different data modalities in space and time for applications in health care.

My graduate work focused on deciphering the contribution of mechanics to the variability observed in important but heterogenous processes such as cell state transitions in cancer progression and stem cell engineering. In my reaseach program, I perform both experiements and analysis of image and sequencing data at the single cell resolution to deduce modulators of cellular behaviours.
